Restaurants and Dining

Boston is renowned for its seafood, and some of the best in the city is located right here at Copley Place. Established in 1950, Legal Sea Foods offers a rotating selection of fresh fish, shellfish and one of the best bowls of clam chowder in Boston.

 

Quick bites can be found at Au Bon Pain café bakery and Tender Greens, specialising in farmers market-style cuisine. Beyond the centre, Back Bay is home to one of Boston’s most diverse and distinctive dining scenes, with a wide range of casual and upscale eateries just a short walk away.

Boston is teeming with Revolutionary War-era landmarks, iconic attractions and cultural institutions, and Copley Place is situated smack-dab in the midst of it all. Within the centre, stop by the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau Information Desk to get personalised sightseeing advice or purchase tickets for tours and museums.

 

Some of the must-see sites within a short walk or drive of Copley Place include Fenway Park, the historic Beacon Hill neighbourhood, Boston Common, the Public Garden and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum. Getting Around

Whether you are coming to Copley Place by car, by train or by foot, the centre is well-connected and easy to reach. There is paid parking in a covered garage, as well as valet parking for an additional fee.

 By Car

From Logan International Airport
Follow the signs to Boston through the Sumner Tunnel. Turn right up the entrance ramp onto Expressway 93 North. Take the Storrow Drive exit on the right. Follow Storrow Drive West and take the Copley Square exit. Turn right onto Beacon Street. Go two blocks and turn left on Clarendon Street. Follow Clarendon Street five blocks. Turn right onto St. James Avenue.

From Western Massachusetts & Points South via Massachusetts Turnpike:
Follow Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) east to the Copley Square/Prudential Center exit 22. Follow the Copley Square Exit and take your first right onto Dartmouth Street. Copley Place is on your right.

From Points South via I-95 & I-93:
Follow I-95 North to I-93 North. Take exit 18 for Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury. Follow the arrows to Massachusetts Avenue and turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue. Off Massachusetts Avenue, turn right onto Huntington Avenue. Follow Huntington Avenue, and Copley Place is on your right.

From Points North via I-95 or I-93:
Follow Route 93 South. Take exit 26 North Station/Storrow Drive. Follow Storrow Drive West to the Copley Square exit. Turn right onto Beacon Street and follow two blocks. Turn left onto Clarendon Street and follow five blocks. Turn right onto St. James Avenue. Copley Place will be on your left.


By Train

MBTA Green Line

Exit Copley Green Line Station at the corner of Dartmouth and Boylston Streets. Walk two blocks south on Dartmouth Street across Copley Square. Copley Place is on the corner of Dartmouth Street and Stuart Street.

Back Bay Station / MBTA Orange Line and Amtrak:
Exit Back Bay Train Station on the Dartmouth Street side. Cross the street and Copley Place is in front of you.


Cash Points & Currency Exchange

Stores at Copley Place accept most major credit and debit cards, but there are two cash point machines at the centre for your convenience – one located next to Barneys New York on Level 1, the other in front of Starbucks at the end of the Huntington Bridge.

Should you need to exchange currency during your visit, Copley Place is pleased to offer a Currency Exchange International location (across from Coach on Level 2) for our international travellers.
